Neurofeedback – zabavan mentalni trening za djecu

Mnoga su se istraživanja bavila proučavanjem QEEG-a i pronalaženjem specifičnim markera za određene poremećaje. Tako se pokazalo da kod djece koje imaju poteškoće s pozornošću i hiperaktivnosti (ADD/ADHD) postoji više sporih (theta) i manje brzih (beta) moždanih valova u frontalnim i središnjim regijama mozga (Mann, Lubar, Zimmerman, Miller & Muenchen, 1992., A. Barabasz, Crawford & M. Barabasz, 1993.). Zahvaljujući takvim je podatcima određen neurofeedback protokol za smanjenje ovih simptoma. Njima je cilj ima povećanje unutrašnje stimulacije mozga, kako bi se smanjila potreba za traženjem stimulacije izvana, što je glavna karakteristika ovih poteškoća.
